Type of Velocity -Time Graph

Image
Now we will see different types of velocity time Graph. Before we start to discuss ,firstly read this how we can Calculate the Slope : Hope You done it let start now when velocity of object is increasing with time when velocity of object is increasing with time we get a linear graph. R esult: Time Along x-Axis. Velocity along Y-Axis. Graph line is linear and represent the Acceleration. Area under the Graph Represent Distance covered by object = 1/2 (Base)(height). Velocity and Acceleration both constant in linear graph. Graph line Parallel to X-Axis There are certain cases in which body is moving with Constant velocity. in this case velocity time Graph is parallel to X-Axi s R esult: Time on X-axis. Velocity on Y-axis. Graph line is parallel to time axis and represent the acceleration. Area under the Graph represent Distance= Base x Height. Slope of the Graph is zero which means the Acceleration of body is zero. Graph line is Parallel to Y-Axis when Velocity of object is increasing but

Graphs are used to represent the relationship between two variables in pictorial form in velocity time Graph we plot the graph between Velocity and Time ,calculate the slope and distance covered by the objects.there are certain Graph here we study and calculate the acceleration in different cases: Linear Graph: if velocity of object is changing with time , so the relationship between velocity and time is linear.  As velocity is changing with time so Graph of above data is: in order to find the Acceleration in this case we find the slope of the graph. to find the slope between two point Let Say A and B. we fall perpendicular on both x-axis and y-axis from point A and B as shown under: Point A and Point B cut each other at point C. we construct a triangle ABC with angle  θ. so                                                       Slope of the Graph = Tan  θ = perpendicular/base                                                 Slope of the Graph =  ΔV/  Δt

Average Speed in Different Cases:

Average Speed in Different Cases:  Case 1:             when  a body cover equal distance in unequal interval of time  sometime we deal the problem in physics in which we want to calculate the average speed of the object that covered equal distance between two points in unequal interval of time. so in such cases we apply the following formula to calculate the average speed. Problem:                    A Bus is traveling with the speed of 30 Km/h from London East to London west and than travel from London West to London East with 60 Km/h. what is the average speed with which bus is moving? Solution:   As distance traveled by the bus from London east to London west and return from London west to London east is same so the average speed of bus is                                                      so the average speed of the bus is 40 km/h Case 2:               when  a body cover  unequal  distance in equal interval of time  Problem:                    A car is traveling from point A to B

Average Speed

Average Speed  Ratio of Total Distance  to total time is called average Speed.  Mathematically ,                     Unit :  the unit of average velocity is  Problem:    A Racing car accelerate uniformly through 3 gear change with the following average speed:   30 ms -1 for 10 sec 40 ms -1 for 5 sec 60 ms -1 for 3 sec Now what is overall average speed of car? Solution :  Car cover 30 m distance in one second so total distance covered by the car in 10 sec is 30 x 10 = 300 m Car cover 40 m distance in on second so total distance covered  by the car in 5 sec is 40 x 5 = 200 m Car cover 60 m distance in one second so total distance covered by the car in 3 second is 60 x 3 = 180 m So Total distance covered by the car = 300+200+180                                                       =680 m Total time taken= 10+5+3= 18 sec
